A Good Buy on Ammo

Mel went shopping to feed her new .30-06, and found 500 rounds of milsurp for $375, in a steel ammo can.

That may not sound like such a big deal to y'all, but that stuff over-the-counter is $23/box of 20 up here. 75 cents/round is a GOOD thing.

It is ridiculous how expensive ammo and everything has gotten.

I love your new blog image. What part of Alaska is that?

I remember when .30-06 AP rounds sold for .25 per round and I didn't buy because I thought that it was a rip-off.

Sigh...

Get what you can when you can get it. It's not going to get cheaper.

DR, agreed. The pic is Denali National Park.

Law, I remember that, too. And you're right.

NFO ... yeah.
