of course, at this point I'd still wonder about those who need this in order to decide....
Agreed, Matt. I harbor few suspicions that me, publishing this, will change anyone's mind. But maybe someone else will put where the unaware/undecided (but I repeat myself) are looking.
That pretty much sums it up right there.
Indeed. As Golda Meir said in 1957 (lest anyone think this is something new): “Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
In my more charitable moments, I can understand how a massively outclassed militant wing in an urbanized area doesn't have many alternatives for survival other than hiding in a civilian population. I can even acknowledge that I'd be pretty hacked to if some Chinese empire say militarily conquered the Southwest US and make a State of Aztlan. I get all that. ... none of which means the target selection and just plain savagery of the jihadis is nothing short of reprehensible.Via Prager - "When the Arabs put down their weapons, there will be no war. When the Israelis put down their weapons, there will be no Israel."
You're right, Jenny. And Mr. Netanyahu said that last bit, IIRC.
