Back Home Again

Got home a couple of hours ago. I'm going to take it relatively easy, but will work on getting back into the regular flow of activities; cleared to go back to work on Monday, too.

Life goes on, and I thank God for that! It will be a bit different now (especially regarding the number of pills I'll be taking every morning) but I'm so grateful for the chance. I don't intend to waste it.

Remember the other day when I said y'all are stuck with me? Heh.

That reminds me. I gotta take MY meds....

Welcome back, my friend. I quit counting the number of pills I take each day - it's too darn depressing.

TCA, I'm glad I could help. Heh.

Thanks, Stephen. I believe I'll take your approach; thanks for that.

Just catching up on my blog reading after having cataract surgery.
Sorry to hear about your little
trip to the hospital. Thankful to the Lord that you are doing well and now able to be home.

Take care...God's blessings!

Rev. Paul, I just found out over at Brigids place. I am glad all is well. You are in our prayers.

Rev. Paul said...

WSF - me, too. Thanks.

maddmedic - perhaps. Certainly it was undetected/unsuspected.

CottonLady - Thank you.

NFO - already fighting with the insurance company over one of the prescriptions ... but you betcha.

Simple Man - Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by.

Trite but true, there is no place like home! Glad you are there. Stuck with you? I have been stuck with far worse in the past. I'm in good company now!

So glad you're home Rev. We are truly blessed to be 'stuck with you' still.

Thanks to the Tin Can Assassin your
comment reminded me to take my meds,
Rev you just keep taking the meds and
dont over do it going back to work to
soon that was always my problem when
i was working.

Rev. Paul said...

Keads & Six, thank you. :)

Ajdshootist, I am following the doc's recommendations to the letter. Already in the habit of taking meds (darn it), so now I just have a few more. I don't like the idea very much ... but can't argue with the fact that I'm healthier because of it.

Rev. Paul,

I'm so happy to hear you're home with your loving family. Take care of yourself. All your blogger friends are happy you're back, take it slow my friend.

My family has your family in our prayers, God Bless.

I'm afraid if you're looking for people who are upset that we're stuck with you, sir, you're in the wrong place.

*hugs* to you and your wonderful wife, and any extra gray hairs she has now that weren't there last weekend? We'll never notice, or tell.

Great you are home!
I get to take meds 3x/day, so I'm pretty much on a schedule, anyway.

Keep taking good care!

I am glad you are safely home. There's DIY info posted tonight, no recipes for stuff that are bad for your arteries. Get well and stay strong. A lot of folks appreciate the world a little more with people like you in it.

Rev. Paul said...

Sandy, Wing, Guffaw, I thank you.

Brigid, I swear you're going to turn my head. Stop, hear? (Okay, don't.) :^)

Came by through Brigid's place. Glad to see things worked out :-)

Anchorage... man I miss Alaska. Spent some (not enough) time at Elmendorf a while back... they say once you've been to Alaska, it calls to you the rest of your life and I surely believe it.

Or it could just be Koot's calling me back; who knows?

Rev. Paul said...

Welcome, CrustyRusty, and thank you. RE: your time in AK, it's absolutely true. I was on Adak for two years, back in the 70s, and spent most of the next three decades dreaming of getting back. Been here for a decade now ... and 'Koots is still there, but it's a younger crowd these days. Not really meant for us old coots, anymore. :)
