Monday in the Ever-Lovin' A.M.

Not much going on this morning, but here's what I've got:

* * * * *

Love Hurts Dept:  Last Friday was the Chrome and Ink Tattoo Party at Anchorage's Harley-Davidson dealer, as part of the Fur Rondy festivities. Click here for the photos.

* * * * *

Simply the Best Dept:  12-time participant Arleigh Reynolds of Salcha won his first Anchorage Fur Rendezvous Open World Championship Sled Dog Race. Story here.

* * * * *

We Are the Champions Dept: Anchorage’s Kikkan Randall & her partner, Jessica Diggins, won America’s first world championship in the history of cross-country skiing Sunday.

* * * * *

Fire in the Sky Dept: It seems this has been a VERY good year for viewing the northern lights in Alaska. Story & at least one spectacular photo here.

* * * * *

On a Personal Note Dept:  Regular readers may recall that I mentioned starting a diet at the beginning of the year. Since Jan. 8, I've now lost 22 pounds. w00t!

And with that bombshell (a la Jeremy Clarkson), it's time to wrap this up. Thanks for stopping by, friends, and have a wonderful day!

Wish my hubby had your will-power. Good going !
BTW. How often do you get to enjoy the aurora borealis?

Cathy, the answer is: not very. The best displays are often in the wee hours (like 3am), when I'm rarely up & about.
