Amen to that! We really need more prayer in our lives. It usually gets us over the rough bumps in the road of life. Keep taking it easy and mend quickly!Phyllis (N/W Jersey)
Amen, well said!
Chickenmom, you betcha. And "quick recovery" is my goal. I'm already feeling more energetic than I was before the surgery; apparently my heart had decreased oxygen flow for several months, and I was tired all the time, but didn't know why.NFO, thanks.Stephen, I don't for a moment believe that God's through with the US. There are still millions of believers crying out to Him daily. He never turns His back on His children.
"Prayer has sustained our people in crisis, strengthened us in times of challenge, and guided us through our daily lives since the first settlers came to this continent. Our forbearers came not for gold, but mainly in search of God and the freedom to worship in their own way." - -President RONALD WILSON REAGAN
Sandy, that's a great quote! Thanks for sharing.
Great quote Sandy! It's just what I needed after coming through a post-blizzard weekend with no power and no heat. Believe me, prayers were said before, during and after. And the Good Lord watched over us. Praise the Lord!
Sarge, it doesn't sound like any fun - but I suspect you were better-prepared than most. Even so, sounds like He took care of you!
