There were no injuries or damage when the plane, a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver owned by Talkeetna Air Taxi, landed about 7:10 p.m. Sunday, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.
"It looked like he did a really admirable job of getting the thing down," NTSB investigator Brice Banning said.

Banning said the plane carried six passengers and the pilot. None were injured, he said. The cause of the engine problem remains unclear.

PH, I suspect you're right. :)

I agree, Sandy. It's so nice to have zero fatalities for a change.

I'll show this to hubby who's in the other room on his flight simulator. He comes to bed virtually banged up some nights when he's been trying to land in in fog.
One of his favorite TV programs: "Fly Wild Alaska" . . the Tweto family.
