Traffic Crime – Officer observed two vehicles racing on Henry Swanson Drive with one of the vehicles almost colliding head on with the officer. When contacted the individuals stated that they wanted to give their toddler son the sense of racing in the wind. Subject was summonsed for multiple charges.That might fall under the heading of "stupid human tricks".
I thought Parkour was done outside.
Criminal Mischief – Caller reported four to five children playing inside of a parked vehicle. Officer responded and contacted the children who said they were using the vehicle as a prop for their Parkour video. Officer advised the children not to use other people’s property as a prop for their video. The children apologized and vacated the area.
I'd probably avoid ticking off someone with a front-end loader at hand, too.
Suspicious Person/Activity – Officers responded to faint cries for help at the CEM dock. Upon arrival, officers observed an individual in the water, under the dock, sitting on a float. Officers were able to extricate the subject who was later determined to be inebriated. The subject said he wanted to go for a swim, jumped in off the dock and somehow ended up under the dock. Ambulance responded and subject signed a refusal form.
Suspicious Person/Activity – An apartment manager, clearly frustrated by the number of non-tenants who park in his parking lot, used a front-end loader to remove an illegally parked vehicle and then block it in another space. The vehicle owner chose not to pursue charges in spite of the damage that was done to her vehicle.
Traffic Crime – Caller requested assistance with a commercial truck that had run over his luggage. Officer responded to the location and was notified that both parties had come to a civil agreement to pay for damages incurred.
Domestic Disturbance – Caller reported loud noises and a verbal dispute emanating from a neighboring residence. Officer responded and contacted one occupant at the residence and the other at work. Both denied any arguments and insisted that the vacuum and loud music may have been the source of the complaint.
Drunk Disturbance – Caller reported a patron who was asked to leave the restaurant was acting suspicious, taking off his shirt and pacing in the restaurant. Officers responded and contacted the subject. The subject was provided courtesy transport to his place of employment.
