Alaska's Still a Very Big Place Dept: The Associated Press says "Authorities on Monday suspended the search for a plane and its pilot missing near Yakutat.
"Alan Foster was last seen Sept. 9 when he landed his Piper PA-32 Cherokee at Yakutat, refueled and took off for Anchorage. Authorities said his airplane disappeared from radar at about 4 p.m. that day near the Malaspina Glacier. The airplane was not carrying an emergency locator beacon.
"The Alaska Rescue Coordination Center said in a release that all possible leads were investigated, but search efforts were unsuccessful in trying to find Foster."

Our weather has warmed up by a couple of degrees, so although there's heavy precip expected tomorrow, it should be wet rather than white.
That's all I have this morning. Thanks for stopping by, friends. Have a great day!
