Neat. I love snow and sand sculptures. It takes real talent to make them or any sculpture that requires a take away method. I used to sculpt from the other direction adding on to a skeleton and that is easy compared to chipping stuff out of a block.
You know one sculptor said it's easy: you just carve away everything that doesn't look like your statue. It's not that easy, but funny.
Just amazes me what creative people can do with the things at hand. Snow and ice. Voila. A work of art.
Cathy, the team that carved the dragon includes my plumber; they've won twice in a row, and hope to make it a three-peat next year. :)
