A Message from Gun Owners of America

Vote Joe Miller for US Senate Today!
Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund was proud to endorse Joe Miller earlier this year (click here to see the endorsement), and we are urging all Alaskans to go vote for Joe Miller today, August 19th!

Joe Miller’s commitment to the right to keep and bear arms is unwavering.  An avid gun collector, Miller understands that the framers of the Constitution viewed private ownership of firearms not merely as a hunting or sporting issue, but chiefly as a safeguard of liberty.

“The Founders believed our Right to Keep and Bear Arms was such a vital liberty, they wrote it into the Constitution,” Miller said. “No one will be a stronger advocate in its defense."

Miller is committed not only to defending the Second Amendment against further legislative attacks, but also in rolling back unconstitutional gun laws that are on the books.

Joe filled out our detailed candidate questionnaire with 100% pro-gun answers

Dan Sullivan and Mead Treadwell did not return our questionnaire.

It is paramount to have the most pro-gun candidate to represent Alaska in the U.S. Senate because Sen. Mark Begich (D) has not protected the Second Amendment during his tenure.

Begich has tried to convince Alaskans that he is pro-gun, but the truth is far from that -- as evidenced by the fact that he currently holds a D rating from Gun Owners of America.

This is why GOA-PVF stands strongly behind Joe Miller and encourages all pro-gun Alaskans to vote for him.

By voting for Joe Miller today, August 19th, you will be supporting a man who will defend your Second Amendment rights.

I hope he gets it this time. He got messes over last time IMHO.

Sorry for the typo.... "messed" is what I was going for.

I believe you're right, Matt. The same group that massacred Sarah Palin's reputation helped smear Miller. He's taken a much more active role in managing his own image this time 'round, and it shows.

From the title of this blog I thought I was going to see something like "Nuts!" as the message....

That's always a possible future post, PH. Heh.
