Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct & a Cunning Canine

Disorderly Conduct
Officers responded to Icicle Seafoods regarding a recently terminated employee who was expressing his displeasure with the situation by throwing things about and kicking walls. After officers arrived, the man collected his belongings and left the vessel without further ado.

Two police officers and the ACO chased a small vulpine dog that was frolicking in traffic, from East Broadway to Dutton to Jack London Drive, where it eventually fled to the confines of its own home. The owner was cited.

Suspicious Person/Activity
Officers responded to a bunkhouse regarding an alleged fight in progress and found some inebriated employees who admitted to rough-housing after returning from the bar.

Domestic Disturbance
[A man], 69 yoa, of Unalaska, was arrested for Assault IV-DV after officers responded to the residence and learned that in a fit of anger he had overturned and broken a coffee table, scaring his wife.

Suspicious Person/Activity
Officer observed someone who fit the description of a man previously trespassed from Unisea property, walking on the docks at Unisea. The man hid his face and then hid on board a vessel tied to the dock. With the vessel captain's assistance, the officer learned the unidentified man was part of the vessel crew and had been hiding because he was not supposed to be drinking.

Drunk Disturbance
Officer observed what appeared to be a fight outside the Harbor View Bar, but which upon further investigation was simply good-spirited and intoxicated rough-housing.

Suspicious Person/Activity
Drunken caller in Florida reported that her husband, in Unalaska, had threatened to kill her. She reported as well that her husband had tried to hit her 19 years earlier, but had instead hit their daughter. An officer asked the woman to phone with more information when she is sober.

Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress at a bunkhouse and found several loud, drunken revelers, none of whom appeared to have been in a fight.

Drunk Disturbance
Officers responded to a different bunkhouse, where a man was supposedly threatening others with bottles. Officers found drunken revelers, including one who claimed to be so upset about a relative's death several years earlier in another state, that he felt compelled to pick fights with people tonight. One young man was cited for Minor Consuming.

In that locale he must have a world class drinking problem.
