I have not watched Star Trek in years, but yes, now that you mention it, Klingons and Romulans never seem to have the same issues.

Not that they spent enough time on those races to know for sure. ;-)

TB, that's correct ... at least as far as the Federation knew. :)

Linda, I recall one episode with the Romulans having some sort of slow-motion disaster involving experimental tech, but it was just that one time.

Yeah; as I recall the Dilithium crystals were always "breahking dune." So much for that New World(s) Order! As for me; I started life on Impulse Engines. I'll finish life on Impulse Engines...

Pete, I'm with you. Getting too long in the tooth to be worried about making Warp Factor Whatever. "Quick - fire up the Doubletalk Generator! We need more power!"

Hahahahaha! Doubletalk Generator. Isn't that what the Dems use?????

Rev. Paul said...

Actually, the Dims are a doubletalk generator. The Star Trek version is the advanced electronic version of modern politics.

LOL

Best explanation I ever heard: the Federation is all the slow proggy humans who stayed behind after all the real adventurers ran off to some kind of singulatarian adventure. The effective people are so far ahead they're off camera. :)
